相之丘以一年2～4冊的頻率推出漫畫作品，希望以宏觀的角度，來探索媒介表現的共通性，像是版面視覺的組構、敘事深掘心靈的各個面向等，都是漫畫表現能擴張的兩個軸線。
因此，我們從視覺優先，再從敘事題材著手，無論作品出身何處，將以「世界性」為核心，來揀選出版品。在思考論述面，也會以美學表現及其歷史演變論述為主，再觸及到相關文化、經濟、社會等層面，為大家帶來漫畫相關的知識。

Inspired by independent publishers across Japan, Europe, and America, Tōkhiu Books focuses on works that expand the artistic expression of comics accompanied by theories in visual culture. We adopt an open vision for comics, featuring authors of various nationalities. Interested in the underlying structure for visual and verbal representations, we explore how comics develop through the axes of the verbal and the visual and hope to deepen the understanding of this medium in the Sinophone world.
