Su Shi is an emerging writer from the Yunnan frontier. Her work centers on the intersection of borderland life, ethnicity, and religion, specifically focusing on the undocumented experiences of women. Now based in Tokyo, she continues to explore ethnic memory and female identity. She has received multiple accolades, including the Matters Golden Pen for non-fiction and the 2025 "Older Sister" Poetry Award (Special Prize).
