“Poetry That Doesn’t Sell — And Other Things Worth Doing "explores the margins of daily labor—motherhood, housework, caregiving, and urban life—through clear, unadorned language. Refusing comfort and efficiency, the poems retain humor and quiet resistance amid exhaustion and interrupted time. The book features illustrations and textured line work by Maniniwei, creating a visual dialogue that echoes the poems’ uncompromising voice and dignity.
